Cannabis Mocktails? Yes, please!

Cannabis Mocktails

Learn what cannabis mocktails are, how they can benefit patients, along with how to make your own at home.

Ever hear that a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down? Well, so can a delicious cannabis mocktail! A mocktail is a non-alcoholic cocktail. If you’ve ever ordered a virgin daiquiri or other virgin alcoholic drink, that’s a mocktail. Its a beverage mixture of ingredients without using any alcohol, bringing with it all the flavor of one of your favorite drinks. When you add cannabis, it changes from a tasty drink to a tasty medicine.

Some people don’t mind the taste of tinctures or oils by themselves but might want to mix it up. There are also beverages that are already infused with cannabis, taking the making out of the equation for you. But if you want to add some additional flavor to your medicine, or simply want to add some fun to your medication routine, cannabis mocktails are a perfect choice for switching it up.

Cannabis mocktails are very easy to make. They can be made with several cannabis products or ingredients. Cannabis tinctures and oils can simply be added to any mocktail recipe or cocktail recipe, minus the alcohol, by dropping a few drops into the mixture. Use edibles in crafting your own cannabis mocktails by adding them to existing recipes, or by making your own concoctions.

Tinctures and Oils

One of the easiest ways to make cannabis mocktails is to just add your favorite cannabis product to your favorite beverage. This can be as simple as adding a few drops of cannabis tincture or oil to your lemonade, favorite juice, or even your coffee. For an even more convenient way to make a cannabis mocktail, there are coffees that come already infused with CBD or other cannabinoids. All you have to do is brew and enjoy, or add a little of your preferred creamer to make yourself a cannabis infused latte.

Incorporating edibles like cannabis chocolates, by dropping a dose into a cup of hot cocoa perhaps, is another easy way to make your own cannabis mocktail. You can also drop hard candies and gummies into drinks like sparkling waters or club sodas to infuse them with the medicine of your choice. These infusions can be made with THC or CBD based products, both, or a combination of many different cannabinoids.

One of the biggest benefits to consuming cannabis this way, besides making your dose of medicine taste amazing, is how simple it is to conceal. To everyone else, it looks like you’re just sipping on your favorite drink. This can come in handy over the holidays, family get-togethers and other events or gatherings where you might need your medicine, but not want to let everyone know you’re consuming cannabis.
