Everyone loves an infused brownie! These honey infused brownies uses infused Sweet Stone Honey by Heartland Labs. The infused honey is a staff favorite! That’s why we created this Honey Infused Brownie recipe and released it on National Brownie Day! The honey adds a natural sweetness and gives the brownies a more complex flavor than those made with refined sugars. The walnuts give them a classic touch while also creating a brain boosting dose of healthy fats.
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Line a 9×9″ baking pan with parchment paper or butter it and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, mix the butter and honey until well combined. Then beat in the vanilla and the egg.
4. In a different bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Then add that to the butter mixture and combine until there are no lumps. Stir in the chopped walnuts and chopped dark chocolate.
5. Spread the batter evenly in your 9×9″ pan. Sprinkle crushed walnuts over the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving, and enjoy!
